The league follows the Missouri State High School Athletics Association rules and guidlines, and adapts for younger players. MSHSAA requires an official’s water break as close to the ½ mark of each quarter of each game the first 4 weeks of the season.

Be sure to to have players hydrate by drinking at least 16-24 ounces of water during the day prior to the game or practice. Cheerleaders, coaches, parents, siblings, grandparents and all attending are advised to drink plenty of water the day prior, bring adequate water to the game, dress in light colors and if available,  have a way to shade yourself from the sun.
